The 40th Reunion of The Sheffield High School

It looks like the Reunion Committee has decided upon reunions every 5 years, at the time of the 1996 reunion.  Aaron Newborn recalls the fact that the one in 1996 was held at the Holiday Inn, Sheffield, and he has the official group photo to confirm it.  Notice that all the girls still look beautiful, but the boys are now starting to show their light colored hair--all, that is, but Ron Newborn and Buck Locke, who stand out in the photo as the guys with the full heads of dark hair.

Now, we need one of you, out there, who attended the reunion to tell us what went on at this gathering.

After the brunch, we hope to have the high school open for those who would like to tour.

The reunion committee originally planned a 2-day reunion, but decided to have 2 events on one day for the convenience of those classmates who were traveling.

CLASS PROJECT

Bust of Coach Wright (Donated by SHS 40's Alumni Association)

The Class of '56 project for the 1996 reunion was the commissioning of a plaque to be presented to the Coach Wright Family.  Over $1,000 were raised to fund this project during the reunion banquet and in the days afterwards.
