The first of the mid-winter fun activities planned to rescue the student body from the doldrums of dreary winter was Stunt Night (the other was the Senior Play). Now, I cannot, for the life of me, remember anything about this, no doubt, hilarious event, so I need a website visitor to rescue me and give us the lowdown! I seem to remember that it was somehow put on by the Student Council, and Nancy Snyder was in some way in charge of arrangements, but those are very vague impressions. In the program booklet that Johnny Neyman provided, I see evidence that he was a judge, and that the Dramatics Club, the D.O. Club, the Journalism Class and the Student Council gave the best performances (though the Student Council was not in the judging). Entrants were clubs and homerooms, and the titles suggest everything from comedy to Shakespeare. The photographs didn't come from our Demitasse, but rather from that of another class year, so they may not be pictures of the 02/10/56 event. I recognize some of our classmates in some of the photos, so I am presenting them here anyway. Anyone with snapshots of the event that took place when we were seniors is welcomed to send them to me and I will post them here.

Bill Mitchell, Mary Ann Byars and Robert Scogin Do you recognize Barbara Laughlin, Mary Ann Byars, Bob Proctor, Nancy Snyder, Kitty Stribling, Bill Mitchell, Jane Flurry, and Robert Scogin, or am I imagining names?

Could these be--no, wait! I think they really are Jean Gardner and Jimmy Kimbrell.
Could there be two Noble Lords? Jean and Louis Buettner were in the Tri-Cities Daily.

The White Phantom This spooky scene has some unknown actors, but I believe I see Edna Harrison, Joann McMoran and Alan Hyde--and maybe little Prissy ("I don't know nothin' 'bout no birthin'!") from Gone with the Wind), or is it Lindsay Nathan?
