SHS 1956 Seniors of Note

THE ROYALS

Like every school, everywhere, our student body elected a group of their own to be "The Best . . . . " or "The Favorites," a sort of democratic monarchy.   The election to "Favorite" category came closer to being a sentiment accurate to its name.  Those monthly elections of the favorites selected some of the most popular folks in our class.

Those of you who've been to our latter years' reunions, know that our entire class has matured gracefully and surprise personalities have emerged.   Lots of us would be strong contenders for many of these titles today.

But, here are the ones who made the list back then.

P.S.:  Notice how sharp and nice this photo is.  June kept her complimentary photographer's glossy print all these years and sent it to me for the website.  If you other "Royals" have the glossy print of the photo used in the annual, send it to me and I will upgrade the image here.  The scans from the yearbook aren't the best quality photos.
