Our class grew up in a time that bred sons and daughters of America who loved their native land and all of her institutions. We thought freedom was worth dying for, and, though we might differ with our leaders and other figures of authority, we would never have thought of denigrating the institutions or opposing the men and women who occupied positions in them. Freedom, to us, was a precious, positive concept, not the right to tear down or oppose the sacred things that make our country great. I have learned, in the mountain of correspondence that I have gotten from you, my classmates, since this website was begun, that a great majority of you are patriotic, concerned about protecting all the good that America stands for, willing to express your religious faith, and opposed to those who cast our native land in a negative light. One way in which you express this in the modern day of Internet correspondence is the "Forwardings" that you send. Here are a few of the links to these deeply felt, and sometimes emotional, expressed viewpoints. I hope you like them and feel a twinge of patriotism as you visit them.
