The funeral for Geroge Sidney Dixon, 56, Route 5, Box 94, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. Carl Long officiating.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He died Thursday, Sept. 1, 1994, at Athens-Limestone Hospital
He was born in Iuka, Miss.; graduated from Sheffield High School; and was employed by Gabriel Manufacturing, Pulaski, Tenn. He was the son of the late T. E. Dixon.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Dixon, Athens; sons, Ed Dixon, muscle Shoals, Mike Dixon, Mark Dixon, both of Prospect, Tenn.; daughter, Deanna Dixon, Tuscaloosa; mother, Nona Mae Dixon, Sheffield; stepson, Eric Stacey, Athens; stepdaughters, kim Hoback, Prospect, Tenn., Vickie Stacey, Athens; brothers James Dixon, Larry Dixon, both of muscle Shoals, Carl Dixon, Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Linda Goins, Martha Sue DAvis, both of Tuscumbia; five grandchildren.
