Seniors Issue

The events that comprised our graduation took place over an extended period at the end of spring 1956.  It wasn't just "Pomp and Circumstance," and that was it.  There were things like the Spring Concert for the band and glee club, the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, Class Night, Baccalaureate Exercises, and Commencement Exercises.  There was even something special about the end of classes for seniors weeks before classes ended for the underclassmen, and it was during this time when The Hi-Lites came out with an issue devoted to the Senior Class.

We don't have many photographs of these events (If you have some, please share with us), but, thanks to a few of our classmates, we have some of the mementos of these events.  Johnny Neyman, Barbara Laughlin South and, especially, June Holmes Holland take the prize for keeping the most memorabilia from our high school days so far.  Thanks to them you can enjoy a look back at our graduation.
